Eurocamp at Le Sérignan Plage: Our Family Holiday Review

Finding holidays that suit a family of five isn’t always easy, but Eurocamp has become our go-to choice. The flexibility, space, and locations are perfect for us. After staying at La Brasilia and La Sirène in previous years, we decided to try somewhere new for 2025: Le Sérignan Plage, just outside the town of Béziers in southern France.

Why choose Le Sérignan Plage?

Béziers is a town full of history and charm, with winding streets, medieval ramparts, and a striking 14th-century cathedral. It’s just 15 minutes from the campsite, so you can easily combine sightseeing with beach time.

The parc itself is set right on the coast, with direct access to a sandy beach and plenty to do on site. It really gives you the best of both worlds: a relaxing family holiday with the option to dip into French culture nearby.

The pool complex

The pools at Le Sérignan Plage were a huge highlight for our family. The complex has three main areas, each catering to different ages:

• A lagoon-style swimming pool with four slides and a shallow entry area for little ones.

• A slightly deeper pool, perfect for swimming and jumping in.

• A brilliant splash pad and water playground for children aged 1 to 8, with slides, water cannons, and paddling areas.

For older kids, there are five giant waterslides in the water park, including some with inflatables that kept ours entertained for hours.

Adults can unwind in the balneotherapy spa, complete with jacuzzis, hydromassage jets, and treatments.

The pools felt warmer than at La Sirène, which meant the children happily spent more time in the water. The layout is also family-friendly, with sunbeds close to the splash pad and plenty of shallow areas where the kids felt confident. It made it much easier for us to relax too.

Food and drink

One of the best things about Sérignan Plage is that you don’t need to leave the site for good food and supplies.

• Shops: bakery, fruit and veg shop, butcher, supermarket, and fishmonger.

• Eating out: a restaurant, a takeaway pizzeria by the bar and stage, and a poolside café serving waffles, paninis, burgers, and ice cream.

We visited the on site restaurant and I would really recommend this if you fancy a meal out. It was a treat price wise so we went once (to celebrate our anniversary) and we were so impressed with the food. We had tuna tartar Japanese style, mozzarella di Buffala and then we shared the rib eye of beef, which came with chips and was absolutely delicious! The kids had the kids menu; chicken nuggets, spaghetti bolognaise and pizza! They were happy and so were we.

• Self-catering: we mixed BBQs using fresh meat from the butcher, take away pizza nights, rotisserie chicken and salad and then croissants for breakfast.

Our mobile home had a Nespresso machine, which was a lifesaver for morning coffee. Drinks at the bar were also very reasonable, with rosé at €2.50 a glass, refreshing Aperol spritzes and local lagers.

The beach

The parc has direct access to a wide sandy beach with shallow water, perfect for paddling, shell hunting, and sandcastle building. Having the beach right on the doorstep meant we could easily split our days between the pools and the sea.

Getting there

We flew with Ryanair from Bristol to Béziers. From the airport, we took a taxi to the campsite which cost €40 for all five of us. It was quick, easy, and much less stressful than trying to arrange car hire.

Accommodation

We booked through Eurocamp but stayed in a mobile home managed by Roan, who specialise in premium camping holidays.

It worked perfectly for our family and included:

• Three bedrooms with air conditioning

• Covered outdoor seating area

• Nespresso machine

• Welcome pack with washing-up essentials, beers, juice, and water

• BBQ, oven, and microwave for family meals

• Free bike for under-6s (we hired two more for €80 for the week, including helmets)

The accommodation felt well thought out, and having everything set up when we arrived made settling in much easier. You can find a tour on my instagram highlights click here to view more

Final thoughts

Le Sérignan Plage really ticked all the boxes for us. The pools were fantastic, the on-site shops and food options were excellent, the beach access was a huge bonus, and the accommodation was both practical and comfortable. Compared to our previous Eurocamp trips, it felt more relaxing and family-friendly, which made a big difference with three children in tow.

If you are looking for a Eurocamp holiday in the south of France, Le Sérignan Plage is definitely one to consider. We would happily recommend it and would love to return ourselves.
