La Sirène vs Le Sérignan Plage: Which Eurocamp Is Best for a South of France Holiday in 2026?

If you’re planning a Eurocamp holiday in 2026 and feel overwhelmed by choice, you’re not alone. I always do a lot of research to find campsites and these two are sites I would 100% recommend for amazing family holidays!

After staying at both La Sirène and Le Sérignan Plage, these are the two sites we’d confidently recommend, but for slightly different reasons.

This post breaks down which Eurocamp is best for you, based on pools, beach access, food, travel ease, and overall holiday vibe.

Quick Overview

La Sirène

Resort-style pools. Lively, fun atmosphere, fantastic shows in the evening. Lots of activities for children. Close to towns and attractions. A new pool complex for 2026!

Le Sérignan Plage

Direct access to the beach. Lagoon pools, toddler splash pad, sun beds and a spa. More relaxed, coastal feel.

Both are in the South of France, both have fantastic facilities, and both are easy to reach from the airport which already puts them ahead of many Eurocamp sites.

Pools: Which One Wins?

La Sirène – Pool Lovers’ Dream

If pools are high on your priority list, La Sirène is hard to beat.

Large lagoon-style pools, multiples slides for different ages and a new set of pools for 2026, which will be heated! There will be an older kids/teens pool with activities so this feels perfect for active children! Perfect for early in the season. There is plenty of space, even during busy periods and lots of activities.

We found the kids were happy to spend all day by the pool!

Best for: families who want action, variety, and that big-resort energy.

Le Sérignan Plage – Pools and the Sea

Le Sérignan Plage also has excellent pools, but with a slightly different feel.

There is a large lagoon pool with slides and splash areas for younger children which was perfect if you had a mix of ages as we do. The pools felt warmer than other parcs plus there was a spa area for adults

The big difference? You’re not choosing between pool or beach, you get both.

Best for: families who want balance and flexibility.

Winner for pools access: They are both brilliant, no winner for me here!

Beach Access: A Clear Difference

This is where Le Sérignan Plage really stands out.

Le Sérignan Plage

Located directly on the beach, it has a wide sandy shoreline and has an easy walk back to accommodation.

Beach days are effortless no driving, no packing the car – a lot easier!

La Sirène

Not a beachfront parc, it is a short drive or cycle to nearby beaches, we went once in our stay, it’s still doable, but it requires more planning.

Winner for beach access: Le Sérignan Plage.

Food & On-Site Facilities

One thing both camps do very well is food and this is a big reason why we picked both parcs.

La Sirène

A mix of restaurants and takeaways. There is a bakery for fresh bread and pastries and a shop. We’d get fresh croissants for breakfast and a takeaway coffee.

There are lots of easy, family-friendly options, we loved the pizza restaurant for an evening meal, it was one of our favourites. There is also a “beach side restaurant” which is set on sand by the pool. Over on Hippocampe which is the sister parc there is a Thai restaurant.

Le Sérignan Plage

On-site shops including bakery and butcher (which was lovely, but expensive)! There is a lovely restaurant we ate at twice, but on other nights we either did a BBQ or got takeaway pizza. We always ate the pizza in the entertainment area and lots of other people did too. There is a bar nearby if you wanted a drink with your pizza.

Winner – for me, La Sirene had more options for food, but we loved both!

Travel & Getting There

Both camps score highly for easy travel, especially if you’re flying.

Located in the South of France they are both close to regional airports. La Sirene was close to Girona and Perpignan, we have flown twice from Stansted to Perpignan, the taxi was approx 100euro each way. Le Serignan Plage was close to Béziers airport, we picked this site in 2025 as a change to La Sirene – this was easier for us in the UK as we could fly from a more local Bristol airport the parc was slightly closer to the airport French side too.

This makes both sites ideal if you want to avoid hiring a car or dealing with complicated transfers, especially with kids.

Winner: both, but from a UK perspective Le Serignan Plage was slightly easier for us.

If you want to fly I would investigate parcs airports first and which airline / airport in the Uk service them and then go from there with your research.

Weather: Why the South of France Works

Another reason we’d recommend both sites for 2026 is the reliable weather.

Hot, sunny days. Warm evenings. Perfect for pool time, beach days, and outdoor dining. We have been in May half term, the beginning of July and end of August for our trips and they’ve all been good weather wise.

It’s one of the safest bets for a summer Eurocamp holiday.

So… Which Eurocamp Should You Choose?

Choose La Sirène if:

Pools are your top priority and you want a lively, energetic atmosphere. There are also new pools in 2026, this is top of our list for 2026!

Choose Le Sérignan Plage if:

You want direct beach access and you prefer a slightly calmer, coastal vibe. You like the idea of pools and sea without choosing. We would 100% go back here!

Final Thoughts for Eurocamp 2026

We didn’t choose these two sites by accident.

Both La Sirène and Le Sérignan Plage tick the boxes that matter most for a stress-free family holiday:

✔ Great facilities

✔ Good food

✔ Easy travel

✔ Reliable weather

If you’re planning ahead for Eurocamp 2026, these are two sites well worth putting at the top of your list.
