Daios Cove is a more boutique luxury option with excellent childcare and beautiful design.
We went when the children were small and had a wonderful suite with its own pool, but to be honest the main pool was so stunning we probably didn’t need it.

A note on Sani Resort
Sani Resort isn’t technically all-inclusive. It’s usually half board or full board, depending on what you book.
But I had to mention it because Sani comes up constantly in family travel conversations for a reason. It has a huge choice of restaurants, beautiful beaches, kids’ clubs, football academies and incredible service.
We loved Sani so much we went twice before trying Ikos.

We went here in October half term 2024 and absolutely loved it. The beach was beautiful. The main dining room did seem a little dated compared with the rest of the resort, but I assume that will be updated in time.

There are so many brilliant family resorts in Europe, but the best one really depends on your children’s ages, your budget and what kind of holiday you want.
If you want luxury, I’d start with Ikos, Grecotel, Lara Barut, Regnum and Maxx Royal.
If you want waterparks, I’d look at Stella Palace, Land of Legends, Magic Robin Hood, Aqua Paradise and Aqua Nevis.
If you’re travelling with toddlers, I’d look at Dreams Corfu, Mitsis Rinela, Atlantica Aegean Blue, Jupiter Albufeira and Blue Lagoon Village.
And if you’re travelling with older kids or teens, I’d make sure there’s enough going on, because that can make or break a holiday at that age.
