If you’re planning a family holiday to the South of France, there’s exciting news from one of Europe’s most popular campsites. La Sirène Holiday Village has officially expanded its incredible water park for 2026 and after seeing it for ourselves, we think families are going to absolutely love it.
The new pool complex adds even more to what was already one of the best campsite water parks we’ve experienced on a Eurocamp holiday.
What’s New at La Sirène’s Water Park?
The new extension includes several brand-new heated pools and attractions, making it even better for families travelling outside of peak summer months.

Heated Family Lagoon
First up is the brand-new heated family lagoon, which the kids have already spent hours in! It’s shallow, spacious, and perfect for younger children to splash around safely while still feeling like a proper resort-style pool.

One of the biggest improvements here is that the water is heated. If you’re visiting in spring, early summer or autumn, this makes a huge difference.
Covered & Heated Pool for Kids and Teens
There’s also a brand-new covered and heated pool designed for older kids and teens with an obstacle course which our older girls love.

Attached to this area are some smaller slides which, in our opinion, are best suited for children under 10. They’re still great fun and ideal for younger children building confidence on slides before tackling the bigger ones elsewhere in the park.

Semi-Olympic Heated Pool
Another brilliant addition is the new semi-Olympic heated pool.
This pool is used for aqua aerobics sessions in the mornings, but throughout the day it’s perfect for swimming lengths or simply enjoying a quieter part of the complex away from the busier splash areas.

As someone who always checks pool temperatures, I tested the water on my Apple Watch and it consistently sat between 28–29°C, perfect for swimming.

Again, if you travel outside the hottest summer weeks, this is a massive benefit.
New Water Play Area
Families with younger children will also appreciate the new aqua play zone.

This colourful splash area includes water jets, fountains and interactive features that are ideal for toddlers and younger kids wanting somewhere safe to play without venturing into deeper pools.

New Giant Slides & Space Bowl Slide
Alongside the slides we already know and love at La Sirène, the campsite has also added:
2 giant new slides and a brand-new Space Bowl slide.
These look amazing (and are according to reviews from my children) and definitely add a more exciting thrill element for older children and teens.
The existing water park was already one of the standout reasons families book La Sirène, so adding even more slides only makes it better.
The Original Water Park Is Still There Too
The good news is that all the existing water park areas remain as well, including:
The huge tropical-style main lagoon pool The heated toddler pool. The original water slides Indoor covered swimming areas. Sunbathing areas.

So this isn’t replacing anything, it’s a genuine expansion of an already massive pool complex.
Why We Think This Makes La Sirène Even Better
For us, the biggest improvement is definitely the heating across so many of the new pools.
If you’ve ever travelled to the South of France in May, early June or September, you’ll know that outdoor pools can sometimes feel freezing, especially for children.
La Sirène has clearly invested in making the campsite more enjoyable across the whole season, not just during the hottest summer weeks.
Combined with the huge choice of pools, slides and play areas, it’s easy to see why this campsite remains one of the most popular Eurocamp destinations in France.
Planning a Holiday to La Sirène?
La Sirène is located in Argelès-sur-Mer in the South of France, close to the Spanish border and Mediterranean beaches. The campsite is well known for its huge water park, evening entertainment, family atmosphere and excellent accommodation options through Eurocamp and other providers.

If you’re booking for 2026, these new pools are likely to make it even more popular especially with families looking for guaranteed heated swimming.
