AD press trip If you’re planning a family holiday to the South of France, La Sirène Holiday Village is one of those campsites that comes up again and again.

We’ve now stayed here three times with Eurocamp, which probably says a lot. For us, it’s one of the easiest family holidays we’ve done because there is so much on site: pools, slides, restaurants, activities, entertainment and that proper sunny South of France feeling.
For 2026, La Sirène has also expanded its already huge water park, and after seeing it for ourselves, I honestly think families are going to love it even more.
The new pool complex adds even more to what was already one of the best campsite water parks we’ve experienced on a Eurocamp holiday.
Where is La Sirène?
La Sirène is in Argelès-sur-Mer in the South of France, close to the Mediterranean beaches and not far from the Spanish border.
It’s a big, lively holiday village with a proper family resort feel. If you want a tiny, peaceful campsite, this probably isn’t the one. But if you want pools, activities, entertainment, restaurants and lots for children to do, it’s a brilliant place to look.
We usually fly when we visit, so for us the ease of getting there is always part of the decision. If you’re booking, I’d definitely check your nearest airport, flight prices, transfer time and whether you want to hire a car before committing.
Why we keep going back
La Sirène is one of those Eurocamp sites that just works for our family.
It has the big pool complex, loads of activities, three restaurants on site, evening entertainment, an on-site bakery, a shop, play areas and easy access to beaches and days out nearby.

What’s new at La Sirène for 2026?
The big update for 2026 is the new water park extension.
La Sirène already had a huge pool complex, but the new additions make it even better, especially if you’re travelling outside the hottest summer weeks.

The biggest improvement for us was that so many of the new pools are heated. If you’ve ever travelled to the South of France in May, early June or September, you’ll know that outdoor pools can sometimes feel chilly, especially for children.
This new complex makes the campsite feel much more usable across the whole season, not just in peak summer.
The new heated family lagoon
The new heated family lagoon is one of the best additions.
It’s shallow, spacious and perfect for younger children to splash around safely, while still feeling like a proper resort-style pool.

Our children spent hours in here. It’s the kind of pool that works really well if you have younger kids, or if you want somewhere a little easier than the bigger, busier slide areas.
The fact it’s heated makes a huge difference. I’m someone who always checks pool temperatures, and on my Apple Watch it was consistently around 28–29°C, which felt perfect for swimming.
Covered and heated pool for kids and teens
There’s also a brand-new covered and heated pool designed more for older kids and teens.
This area has an obstacle course, which our older girls absolutely loved. It gives them something a bit different to do beyond just swimming, and it’s a great option if the weather isn’t perfect.

Attached to this area are some smaller slides too. In our opinion, these are probably best suited to children under 10. They’re still great fun and ideal for younger children who are building confidence before moving on to the bigger slides elsewhere in the park.
Semi-Olympic heated pool
Another brilliant addition is the new semi-Olympic heated pool.

This is used for aqua aerobics sessions in the mornings, but during the day it’s perfect if you want to swim lengths or enjoy a slightly quieter part of the complex away from the busier splash zones.
Again, the heated water makes it feel much more comfortable, especially if you’re not visiting during the peak heat of summer.
New water play area for younger children
Families with toddlers and younger children will also love the new aqua play zone.

It’s a colourful splash area with water jets, fountains and interactive features, giving little ones somewhere safe and fun to play without needing to go into the deeper pools.
This is a really good addition because it means the water park now works even better for different ages.
New giant slides and Space Bowl slide
For older children and teens, La Sirène has also added:
2 giant new slides
A brand-new Space Bowl slide
These add more of a thrill element and make the water park feel even bigger than before.
The existing slides were already one of the main reasons families booked La Sirène, so adding even more makes it feel like a proper water park holiday.
According to my children, the new slides are a big success.
The original water park is still there too
The best thing is that the new pool complex hasn’t replaced the old one. It’s a genuine expansion.
The original water park areas are still there, including:
The huge tropical-style main lagoon pool
The heated toddler pool
The original water slides
Indoor covered swimming areas
Sunbathing areas
So if you’ve been before and loved the old pool complex, that’s all still there. There’s just a lot more now.
Why the pools are such a big part of the holiday
For us, the pools are one of the biggest reasons we keep going back.
On a family holiday, especially with children, having a brilliant pool area makes everything easier. You don’t need to plan a big day out every day. You don’t need to constantly entertain everyone. You can have slow mornings, pool time, lunch, more pool time, then dinner and entertainment.
If your children love waterparks, slides and splash areas, La Sirène is a really strong choice.
What a typical day looks like at La Sirène
If you’re curious what a typical day looks like at a Eurocamp, here is what our last two holidays have looked like at La Sirène.
Obviously every day is a little bit different, but this is a pretty good snapshot of our family routine on a sunny summer day.
8am: coffee, croissants and breakfast outside
We start the day early with a walk to the on-site bakery for fresh croissants, baguettes and fruit.
We usually grab coffee from the poolside bar, then bring it all back to our mobile home deck to enjoy in the morning sunshine.
It’s simple, but honestly one of my favourite parts of the day.
10am: pool time
Then it’s straight to the main pool. The water park is one of the main reasons families book La Sirène, and Eurocamp describes it as one of their epic pool complexes.
We usually divide and conquer: one of us with the older two on the big slides, and one of us with our youngest in the heated toddler pool or splash areas.
If your children love being in the water, this is the part of the holiday they’ll probably talk about most.
11.30am: ice cream break
Mid-morning usually means ice creams, snacks and coffees for the grown-ups from the poolside bar.
It’s a chance to sit down in the shade, reset everyone a little bit and then get ready for more swimming.
1pm: lunch by the pool or back at the lodge
Lunch is really easy.
Some days we keep it simple with baguettes, cheese, cold meats and fruit from the on-site shop or deli. It’s easy to pack a little picnic and find a shady spot.
Other days we treat ourselves to lunch at the poolside restaurant. I loved the poke bowl.
That’s one of the things I really like about La Sirène. You can make it as relaxed or as easy as you need it to be.
2pm: beach, pool or play
Afternoons can look different each day.
Sometimes we head to Argelès-sur-Mer beach for sandy play and sea swims. Sometimes we go straight back to the pool. Sometimes we wander over to the playground, mini golf or Hippocampe for a slightly quieter vibe.
Every day ends up feeling a bit different, but there’s always enough flexibility to suit the family mood.
5.30pm: wind-down hour
This is usually our slower time.
Reading on the deck, rinsing off sandy feet, a quieter swim, card games or just giving everyone a bit of time before dinner.
It’s also when we get everyone showered, changed and ready for the evening.
7pm: evening meal
Our dinners are usually simple and relaxed.
Some nights we eat at one of the on-site restaurants. Other evenings we use the kitchen in our Premium Lodge and do something easy like a BBQ, sausages, grilled vegetables, fresh bread and salad.
It’s very low pressure, which is exactly what you want on a family holiday.
8.30pm: evening show or kids’ disco
After dinner, we often head to the main arena for the evening entertainment.
The children love the kids’ disco and the theatre-style shows are brilliant. We watched The Lion King last year and it was such a good one.
It’s relaxed, fun and a really lovely way to finish the day before walking back to bed.
Then you wake up and do it all again the next day.
The restaurants are a big reason we go back
One of the things we really like about La Sirène is that there are three restaurants on site.
For us, this makes a big difference.
You can eat out without leaving the parc, which is ideal when you have children and everyone is tired after a full day in the pool. It still feels like you’re properly going out for dinner, but without the stress of driving somewhere, finding parking or keeping everyone going too late.
There are also takeaway options, so you can keep things simple when you need to.
Some evenings we’d eat out, some nights we’d do a BBQ at the accommodation, and some nights we’d grab something easy. Having those options makes the whole holiday feel much more relaxed.
What else is there to do at La Sirène?
Although the pools are the big draw, there’s a lot more going on.
On site, you’ll find:
Mini golf
Play areas
Sports and activities
Evening entertainment
Restaurants and takeaways
On-site supermarket
On-site bakery
Pool areas for different ages
Nearby beaches
Day trip options in the South of France
There is also a full programme of activities if your children want extra entertainment.
Who is La Sirène best for?
I’d say La Sirène is best for families who want:
A big, lively campsite
A proper pool and waterpark feel
Lots for children to do
Restaurants and facilities on site
Easy pool days
South of France sunshine
The option to explore nearby beaches and towns
A holiday that feels easy once you arrive
I also think it’s a good choice for families with mixed ages, because there are pool areas and activities for younger children, older children and teens.
What to know before booking
There are a few things I’d keep in mind before booking La Sirène.
It’s a big parc, so check where your accommodation is. Some pitches and accommodation areas will be closer to the pools, restaurants and facilities than others.
It can also be busy in peak summer, especially around the pool areas, so if you prefer quiet, low-key campsites, this may not be the best fit.
I’d also check:
Flight options
Transfer times
Whether you want to hire a car
What’s included in your booking
Whether activities cost extra
Accommodation type and location
Recent reviews
Pool opening times
Restaurant opening times if travelling out of season
As with any Eurocamp holiday, it’s worth doing a bit of research before you book so you know it suits your family.
How do we book?
We have always booked direct with Eurocamp and then organised our own flights separately. We usually use Skyscanner to compare flights, prices and timings, especially when travelling with children.
The Eurocamp search tool is also really helpful because you can filter by what matters most to your family. For example, you can search for parcs with epic waterparks, toddler-friendly pools, beaches nearby, or different location types.
How do you pick the right Eurocamp location?
The biggest thing is knowing what kind of holiday you want.
Do you want to fly or drive?
Do you want a beach holiday?
Is the pool the main thing?
Do you want lots of entertainment?
Do you need restaurants on site?
Would you prefer a smaller, quieter parc?
How far do you want to be from the airport or ferry port?
For us, La Sirène works because it ticks so many of our boxes: big pool complex, sunshine, restaurants, entertainment and lots for the kids to do.
But the best Eurocamp for one family might not be the best Eurocamp for yours, so it’s worth starting with your non-negotiables.
Would we go back?
Yes, and we have.
For us, La Sirène works because it gives the children so much to do, especially around the pools, while still feeling like a proper South of France holiday.
It’s not a tiny, quiet campsite, and it won’t be right for everyone. But if you want pools, slides, activities, restaurants, entertainment and a lively family holiday, it’s one I’d really look at.
The new heated pool complex for 2026 has made it even better, especially if you’re travelling outside peak summer.
I can absolutely see why La Sirène is one of the most popular Eurocamp destinations in France.
La Sirène was already one of our favourite Eurocamp campsites, but the 2026 water park expansion has made it feel even stronger for families.
The heated pools are a huge bonus, the new slides add more for older children, and the extra splash areas make it easier with younger ones too.
Add in the restaurants, entertainment, activities, bakery, beach access and South of France location, and it’s easy to see why families keep coming back.
If you’re planning a Eurocamp holiday and want a lively campsite with a brilliant pool complex, La Sirène is definitely worth considering.
